My name is Yunuwy Verde. I study architecture at Simon Bolívar University. I like to create, to convert a feeling or a thought into something useful at the same time. My main interests are the deconstructivism currents, the organic architecture and the futurism; combine in a single design comfort, creativity, innovation, usefulness, beauty and communion with the environment, that’s for me truly architecture. For me giving your soul out in a design is essential in architecture. My hobby is to travel; I love meeting new places. Now my personality is changing a little bit, I like to constantly renew everything.I’m funny and I laugh a lot. My family is very lovely; my mom is pregnant and is my first brother and I’m very excited because of that. I have many good and funny friends and they have supported me in many difficult moments.

My name is Yunuwy Verde. I graduated from Simon Bolivar University as an architect in 2013. I studied a major in landscape architecture at “Universidad Central de Venezuela”. After graduation I got together with a colleague and friend and opened a firm called “GreenSnail Architects”. We currently work on social projects in the slums of Caracas . We have built libraries, squares, social support centers and safe and ecological hauses for the less privileged people of the city.
We have also made various private projects in several Latin American countries: Brazil , Argentina , Uruguay , Peru , Bolivia , Mexico and Chile . We have been rewarded with several architectural awards. The last prize we received was the “Serpentine Gallery Pavilion”.
Currently, we are designing community art center in “La Bonita”, in Caracas, Venezuela. At the same time, we are building a sustainable development in Brazil, so I have to travel constantly. We have many future projects, among them a terminal in Mexico, a theater in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and our first project outside of Latin America, a Museum of Contemporary Art in Berlin, Germany.
Our horizon is to achieve a better life for the people of our country without damaging the environment.
